Jesus Culture is a collective of singer-songwriters and musicians who record for Jesus Culture Music, the recording arm of a Christian revivalist organisation formed originally in Redding, California in 1999. The band began to release albums in 2006 and have attained an international reputation. Led by Kim Walker-Smith, the singer-songwriters who perform include Derek Johnson, Chris McLarney, Chris Quilala and Bryan & Katie Torwait, who also release solo albums. They have had ten releases on Billboard's Top Christian Albums Chart starting with 'Come Away' which peaked at number ten in 2010.
'Awakening: Live from Chicago' (2011) went to number four, 'Emerging Voices' (2012) number three, 'Live from New York' (2012) number seven, 'Reconstructed Volume 1' (2014) number five, 'Unstoppable Love' (2014) number one, 'This Is Jesus Culture' (2016) number 15, 'Let It Echo: Unplugged' (2016) number 17, 'Let It Echo' (2016) number two and 'Love Has a Name' (2017) number one. 'Reconstructed Volume 1' also went to number four on the Top Dance/Electronic Albums Chart and 'Unstoppable Love' reached number two on the Independent Albums Chart. A Spanish-language release, 'Estos Es Jesus Culture' (2015) reached number nine on the Latin Pop Albums Chart and number 20 on the Top Latin Albums Chart. Among their singles, 'Fierce' (2016) was their most successful peaking at number 14 on the Hot Christian Songs Chart.
