Born outside of Gothenburg, Sweden in 1995, Juli Capelius embarked on a unique journey, partying her teenage sorrows away in underground raves while diligently studying the intricacies of jazz and soul. This contrasting lifestyle laid the foundation for her distinctive sound – a genre-bending blend of electronic and soul.
Juli's life was a rhythmic paradox. By night, she reveled in the pulsating beats and electrifying energy of raves, where she found solace and euphoria. By day, she was a dedicated student of jazz and soul, honing her sultry and soulful voice.
Embracing both sides of her life, Juli Capelius has just embarked on her journey, finding her own unique sound that transcends boundaries and expectations. Her debut EP 'I ruined the relationship with the love of my life" will be released beginning of 2024.
