TeeJay

Born Timoy Janeyo Jones on 3 October 1994 in the Glendevon area of Montego Bay, St. James, Jamaica, TeeJay is a dancehall artist known for collaborating with some of the biggest players in the dancehall game, including Vybz Kartel, Jahvillani, Popcaan, Jahmiel. He began experimenting with music at a young age and recorded his first song, "I Know Jah," in 2005. Over the next two decades, he rose through the ranks of Jamaican dancehall to generate a string of hits including 2020's "From Rags to Riches" with Damage Musiq and "Unfaithful Games" and "Drift" with DJ Mac, which was hot property in 2023. In 2024, he linked up with Karlie Redd and Stadic & Jonny Blaze for the "Henny & Vibes" single with "Dip," featuring Tommy Lee Sparta, and the I Am Chippy EP following that same year. Anchored by its viral lead single "Drift," the latter featured Shaggy as a co-executive producer.
