Biography
Created in 1998 by Madacy Entertainment, The Countdown Kids are a Canadian children’s music group, composed mainly of young artists from Quebec. It is one of the most known and beloved children’s music acts in North America, and their decades-spanning career has featured several generations of young Canadian singers. Covering everything from nursery rhymes to Christmas carols and pop hits, the group has released more than 100 albums in various languages and has topped the Canadian and American charts on more than one occasion. Some of their Number 1 albums include 100 Songs for Kids: Mommy and Me (2001) and 150 Fun Songs for Kids (2009), which stayed on the charts for 156 consecutive weeks. Throughout the years, they’ve also managed to reach Billboard’s Top 10 with Fun Songs for Kids (2010), Kids Christmas Favorites (2010), and Halloween for Kids: Party Song + Sound Effects (2011).
