Davide Campione was born in Palermo in December of 1982.
Already in love with music as a child, he began playing piano and composing at the age of 4.
Determined to pursue a musical career, he first graduated in classical piano at the V. Bellini Conservatory in Palermo and later specialized in Florence with Maestro Walter Savelli in modern piano.
Concurrently, he obtained two masters in musical composition applied to images with Maestro Franco Piersanti and with Maestro Hans Zimmer.
Davide went on to author many short film soundtracks which collected numerous film festival prizes. His musical style immediately gained public acclaim as well as the attention of industry professionals and journalists.
In 2017, Davide opened the first Sicilian branch of the prestigious Walter Savelli Music Laboratory in Palermo of which he is the presiding director. Led by Maestro Maurizio Tomberli, the Walter Savelli Music Laboratory is Italy’s first modern music school founded by Savelli in Florence in the early 70s.
Davide’s passion for teaching lead him to write his first book "Technique for Modern Piano" which held a top spot in Amazon’s best selling musical exercise section for almost a year.
In 2013 he begins to write the music for his first unreleased album, in which he relies on the invaluable collaboration of F.A.M.E.'S. Macedonian Radio Symphonic Orchestra.
The album's release is scheduled for the spring of 2020.
