Victor Gashnikov is a composer and pianist based in Moscow, Russia. Although he never touched an instrument until the age of 18. Victor’s musical path started in a local band where he played a keyboard. After playing in several bands Victor Gashnikov decided to fully focus on piano music.
His debut EP “Piano Thing” is released April 21, 2012. EP features 5 piano minimalistic instrumental songs that had been written in between 2004 and 2011. All songs were written and performed by Victor Gashnikov and recorded at his home studio in Moscow.
In 2013, Victor Gashnikov releases “Shy Love”, a solo piano piece.
His debut album entitled “Untold Stories” is released March 29th, 2017. It is a contemporary piano album, self-recorded, -performed and -produced in his home studio in Moscow, Russia between 2013 and 2016.
With influences ranging from Radiohead and Muse to Red Hot Chili Peppers and The White Stripes, Victor Gashnikov in his heart is a genuine rocker playing the piano, his compositions are full of classical harmonies and melodies with a drive of rock music.
