The German music producer and DJ Lars Böge, known to the public as DJ Gollum, began playing at private parties with his colleague DJ Hunter in 1993. The first official booking followed a year later. The money he earned was invested in additional equipment for live performances and his own studio. in 1995, his first single "Black Arrows" was released on the EDM record label. A year later, his DJ work took him abroad for the first time. A gig at the Nosebleed Club in Scotland was followed by appearances in Denmark, Holland and Spain, among others. He continued to make a name for himself in the scene with remixes for popular mainstream acts such as Scooter and Cascada. With his project Neo Cortex and the single "Elements", he was able to stay in the German club charts for ten weeks in 2004 and was given the opportunity to appear on music television on VIVA. in 2007, DJ Gollum founded his own label Global Airbeatz. Thanks to his consistently high output and captivating live gigs, he has been able to build up a loyal fan base over the years. His most popular tracks include the 2020 remixes of "The Bad Touch" (originally by Bloodhound Gang) and "All The Things She Said" (originally by t.A.T.u.). in 2022, he released the singles "Dancing on the Edge" together with Shinzo and H3artache and the solo track "Only You".
