Sappington Road is out now!
This is a band with no past but tons of history. Formed at the end of the world as people hide from a mysteriously terrifying virus. They came together to create music to soothe ailing souls and electrify the hope that tomorrow will be better than today. Firstly, the band needed the driving thunder of Marty Scott. He punishes his Slingerland drum kit behind Three Lefts and A Rights’ unforgettable hooks. They added Andy Eringis, known as the man with ten thousand voices, he effortlessly shifts with each song. Stefan Ruprecht – brother and confidant of the band’s leader—stepped in to take over duties on bass and the band was born.
And finally, the founder, guitarist and principal songwriter Dan Ruprecht is the lynchpin that keeps the rock flag waving over the talented quartet. While he was in college he was playing on the local St. Louis area circuit. Dan garnered enough attention to be 1 of 10 guitarists to audition for Ozzy Osbourne. Although he wasn’t chosen, it caught the attention of Pat Travers and he was invited to play with him. After his time with Travers, he put together his own band The Pranks and began his songwriting career. The band quickly created a following and opened for REO Speedwagon, Stone Temple Pilots, Blue Oyster Cult, Cheap Trick, and Enuff Z’Nuff, to name a few. Shortly after coming off the road, they went into the studio and began recording songs written by Dan.
