WEEPING KIN is a project by independent musician Tom Ott from Amberg, Germany, setting out to create the most melancholic doom metal possible.
The music incorporates crushingly heavy yet melodic dual guitars, slow, thundering rhythms and a mixture of sorrowful and melodious vocals.
Founded in 2021. The first album "Gnawing" was released one year later, produced in Rosebud Music Studios, Amberg.
With an intricate concept and huge, epic melodies, "Waterbound", the second album was released in 2023.
While the sound and grandiosity of each release may evolve and change, the essence of WEEPING KIN remains unmistakable.
