Stream 'Still I Find' - our luscious, alt-pop anthem
Melbourne alt-pop trio Howlite create atmospheric soundscapes for daydreamers. With a blend of electronic textures and trip-hop beats they bridge the timeless with the contemporary, evoking comparisons to icons such as The XX, Portishead and London Grammar.
Hailed by KALTBLUT Magazine for creating “sublime, cinematic dreamscapes”, Howlite have received a glowing reception from the Australian and international music community. The band have been featured in Rolling Stone Australia, Forte, The Music (and more), radio plays on triple j, Double J, 3RRR, and JOY, and their single ‘Canary’ was synced for the trailer of SBS drama series Safe Home.
After an extended pandemic-shaped hiatus, the band will soon be back with the release of their new single ‘Still I Find’. Their first release since 2021, ‘Still I Find’ is a luscious, synth-laden anthem of resilience and positivity, inspired by Y2K electronica acts such as Ladytron, Goldfrapp and Fever Ray and energised by dynamic performers like M83, Sylvan Esso and CHVRCHES.
On stage, Howlite are a formidable force. The trio have supported the likes of Walking On Cars, Deep Sea Arcade and Alexander Biggs and are currently planning a slew of dates to be reunited with fans.
