Formed in 2001 by English musician Steven Wilson, formerly of Porcupine Tree, and Israeli singer Aviv Geffen, Blackfield are a progressive pop band who have released five albums. Usually named for the band, they started with 'Blackfield' in 2005 followed by 'Blackfield II' (2007), which went to number 32 on Billboard's Heatseekers Albums Chart and 'Welcome to My DNA' (2011), which peaked at number 40. 'IV' only managed number 95 on the UK Official Albums Chart while 'V' reached number 54 but reached number 12 on the Billboard Chart. They toured Germany in 2017 with 2018 dates still to be announced.
