Emerging as a top keyboard player from a vibrant regional music scene, KarynO left her local success behind at an early age and moved to Los Angeles to further evolve as a songwriter, keyboardist and producer. Influenced early by music and production ranging from Beatles, to Motown to progressive rock, R&B, and pop music, she absorbed a vast number of styles to draw from to ultimately create her own unique hybrid style of progressive pop songwriting and production.
Self taught - at the crossroads where music and art meets technology, KarynO became a top music technology expert and worked with musical equipment manufacturers and a vast number of major artists while furthering her recording and compositional skills . Advancing into songwriting for records and films - she also recorded and performed with a number of bands and other artists, while building a solid catalog of original songs.
The KarynO Project is a culmination of all these things coming together, released in songs and albums. As an ongoing collective of diverse songs representing a combination of pop, rock, progressive, fusion, R&B, country and other styles - KarynO melds the songs into a unique signature sound that’s both fresh and engaging to experience.
The first single from the KarynO Project is “Going Home” - an upbeat catchy pop/rock song with a hint of country and a storytelling theme - It’s an appealing “road song” to look forward to hearing (and singing along with), for everyone’s playlist.
