Planet Perfecto

Planet Perfecto is a UK musical group formed in 1997, consisting of Paul Oakenfold, Ian Masterson, and Jake Williams. The trio signed to Oakenfold's record label, Perfecto Records. Before forming Planet Perfecto, all three producers had established themselves in the dance music scene under different guises: Jake Williams as JX, Ian Masterson with Flexifinger, and Paul Oakenfold as a successful DJ and producer. Their initial release, “Georgie Girl” on 12" vinyl in 1997, did not chart in the UK. However, their subsequent track, “Not Over Yet ’99,” achieved notable success, entering the UK Singles Chart at number 16 in August 1999. This track was a remix and re-edit of “Not Over Yet” by Grace and featured collaboration with Matt Darey. The group’s releases also included “Bullet in the Gun 2000” and “Bites Da Dust” in 2001, both issued on Perfecto Records.
