Halim Corto is a highly committed French singer who has been performing since the age of 10. He notably uses his music to fight against injustices. In 2011, he released a charity single in support of the "Rêves" association in collaboration with Dorothée, Emma Daumas, Sébastien Agius, among others. He continued his commitment with the single "Je ne l’ai pas choisi," in support of the anti-homophobia association "Le Refuge."
His first album, "À travers toi," released in December 2012, reached number 1 in sales at the Fnac in Brest. In 2014, he shared the stage with Amel Bent to celebrate the singer's ten-year career. With his extensive stage experience, he released a second eclectic album, "Entre d’Eux," featuring prestigious collaborations.
In 2017, he created the musical "Elfira," an enchanting show inspired by the Celtic universe. In 2018, he opened for Slimane at the Brest Arena.
Finally, in 2022, he released his latest album "Résilience," a sixteen-track opus where he expresses his sorrows, disappointments, as well as his joys and pride. It includes numerous collaborations, notably with Soa, Lunis, Reva, Nedjim Mathallah, Alex Lecuyer, and the young Brest native Mallorie Zouada. Slimane also participated by writing the song "Nos belles années."
With a career rich in commitments and collaborations, Halim Corto continues to leave a mark with his music and dedication to social causes.
