Harley Poe

Harley Poe, an American folk punk band, was formed in Kokomo, Indiana. The group originated from members of Christian punk band Calibretto 13 after its disbandment. Frontman Joseph Whiteford sought to create a band focused on horror film themes. In 2004, they released their debut album In the Dark: Or, B Movie Trash!. Harley Poe gained significant attention with the release of Satan, Sex and No Regrets in 2012, which was voted Best Album of the Year by Rue Morgue. The band's discography includes notable albums such as Fallen Down (2015) and Lost and Losing It (2017), the latter stemming from Whiteford's marital issues and subsequent divorce. In 2019, Harley Poe appeared in the documentary Scary Stories, performing their cover of "The Hearse Song." The band has released a total of 15 albums, with their music described as "murder folk" and characterized by dark, horror-themed lyrics.
