Greek Fire

Greek Fire, an American rock band from St. Louis, Missouri, was formed in 2008 by members of Story of the Year and Maybe Today. The initial lineup included Philip "Moon Valjean" Sneed on lead vocals, Ryan Phillips on guitar, Johnny Venus on drums, and Mark Joseph Roth on bass. Their debut full-length album, Deus Ex Machina, was released independently on August 16, 2011. They supported the album with tours alongside notable acts such as Eve 6, Megadeth, Incubus, P.O.D., Chevelle, Hurt, and Godsmack. In 2013, Greek Fire released the single "A Real Life" from their upcoming concept album, which was later split into two EPs: Lost (released on May 13, 2014) and Found. The band faced a significant challenge when Johnny Venus was diagnosed with acute promyelocytic leukemia in 2012. After his recovery, the band continued touring and released additional EPs.
