She first garnered widespread attention with her 2015 debut album, Bones You Have Thrown Me and Blood I’ve Spilled, which won the prestigious Scottish Album of the Year (SAY) Award. Her distinctive voice—both tender and intense—became her hallmark, evoking comparisons to artists like Joanna Newsom and Anohni, while remaining wholly original.
