In a career that spans three decades, Tim Janis has become a beloved director, filmmaker, and composer. His music is performed by orchestras around the world—including the New York Philharmonic, London Symphony Orchestra, the American Symphony Orchestra, and the Czech National Symphony Orchestra—at prestigious concert halls like Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the Rudolfinum, and throughout Walt Disney Theme Parks.
His films can be seen on Paramount Pictures, Starz, NBC Peacock, and PBS.
Tim has directed and produced a variety of projects which include:
The musical feature film Buttons: A Christmas Tale starring Dick Van Dyke and Angela Lansbury, seven National PBS specials with actors like George Clooney and James Earl Jones,
a multitude of live concerts at Carnegie Hall with special guests Kate Winslet, Sarah McLachlan, Zachary Levi, Sibylle Szaggars Redford, Robert Redford, and Al Gore.
Well known as a composer, Tim has produced over 30 Billboard- charting CDs and has created one of the most popular nature-themed music channels on Youtube with over 1 Million-subscribers.
