From Sydney, Australia, she travelled across Europe and the UK, the influence of her past and present have created the sound of her blend of genres throughout all her music. Rooted in indie folk with influences of great female artists like Joni Mitchell and Regina Spektor, she began to find her voice and style with a combination of not just genre but of sound. After completing a bachelors’ degree in Music, refining and understanding the intricacies of music she began to focus on her love of songwriting. This propelled Keely into
a new world of performance and performance spaces, finding emotion and connection in a lyric, and effortlessly passing this passion to an audience. She always finds a new element within her performance to bring calm and create a space to feel connected, connected to the music and to the surroundings.
This is where she finds busking to be her best outlet bringing all these elements together. After street performing for 2 years, she has been performing, Pocket Sounds, her last demo EP in acoustic versions throughout Europe. As she continues to explore and mould her voice, guitar and songwriting skills, it brings her the space to record a new EP. With this evolution in her performance, this new release of her first full EP is inspired in light of her past and the voice of the present.
