DARKSIDE

Darkside, the electronic project of Nicolás Jaar and Dave Harrington, formed in 2011 while both were students at Brown University. Their debut Darkside EP (2011) was followed by Psychic (2013), a critically acclaimed album blending electronic and rock influences. After an extensive tour, the duo announced a hiatus in 2014. In 2020, they unexpectedly returned with a live album and soon released Spiral (2021), their first studio album in eight years. Drummer Tlacael Esparza joined in 2022, and the trio released Live at Spiral House (2023), an improvised session album. While touring, they began work on Nothing, their first studio album as a three-piece, released in February 2025. The album was preceded by the singles "Graucha Max" and "S.N.C." alongside extensive touring in North America and Europe.
