"A maelstrom of feelings, landing precisely on the heart and soul". This is how the German music magazine Neølyd describes Red Strict Area's music. Founded in 2007, it is one of Berlin's best-kept secrets: With its second album "Kuyashii," released in December 2021, and the singles "We Fall" and "We Will Never Know," the four-piece band unleashes powerful, emotional post-rock that cleverly incorporates shoegaze elements, while remaining accessible and melody-loving despite massive guitar work. In addition to founding members Patrick Kuhn (guitar, vocals) and Andreas Budtke (guitar), Red Strict Area consists of Danny Huhn (drums) and Alessandro Alviani (bass).
