The choir's repertoire is a reflection of its deep passion, showcased in performances at Holy Masses, prayers, concerts, and cultural events, including the historic Holy Mass led by Pope John Paul II in 1990.
Chorale de Kigali has etched its mark with hymns for institutions, 13 volumes of audio songs, and seven Christmas Carols Concerts since 2013.
With around 150 singers aged 17 to 70, Chorale de Kigali is a melting pot of diversity, uniting members from various backgrounds, including students, government, and private sector workers, through a shared love of singing.
Based at Saint Michael Cathedral Parish, the choir seamlessly transitions between sacred and secular music, promoting positive values in widely used languages.
Every August 15th, coinciding with the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, Chorale de Kigali joyously celebrates its anniversary, reflecting on its role in the redemption of humanity through the beauty of choral music.
