Eugenia Quevedo was born in the province of San Luis on February 5, 1992, and grew up in the beloved Altamira neighborhood of CĂłrdoba, the capital of the state.
She participated in reality shows such as Talento Argentino and La Voz Argentina, eventually becoming a finalist on both.
At the age of 20, she decided to leave Córdoba and settle in Buenos Aires to record her first cumbia album, Mi sueño (My Dream), which was released in 2014 through the historic cumbia label Leader Music.
In 2016, after failing to reach an agreement to renew her contract with the record label, she decided to take another chance: she launched into independent work and recorded her first independent album, No ha sido fĂĄcil (It Has Been Easy), which was nominated for the Carlos Gardel Awards and won the award for Best New Tropical Artist Album.
In 2020, Eugenia received an invitation from Rubén -Keso- Pavón LBC to join the cuarteto band, returning to the province where she grew up. La Muela, nicknamed by her colleagues and fans, received the Carlos Gardel Award for Best Cuarteto Artist in 2024 and today tours the country with the band, selling out theaters like the Gran Rex and preparing for her first international tour in Europe.
