Vino el Viernes Is a Rock band from Mexico City made up of: Jesús Zamora, Sergio Chávez and Yael Morales, three friends who share the dream and desire to share their experiences and emotions in each of their songs.
The group began in 2014 when they met in high school and shared a taste for Rock of different subgenres, but it was in 2015 that they recorded their first EP titled “Fama”, which gave them the opportunity to start their music career. professional manner, so they began to appear in various forums and public spaces in Mexico City; Of the most significant have been the concerts in the Metro Collective Transportation System.
Two years later they released their second EP, “Sin lugar para flee”. From that moment on, they began the search to find a new sound that would characterize them. It was not until 2020 that they managed to define it with their single “A lawaite”. In 2021 they released “Años” and “Nube”, and in 2023 “Vidas Pasadas” with Cedric Huesca, songs that reaffirm their commitment to Rock in Spanish.
At the beginning of 2024, “Tal Vez” comes to light, a song released in collaboration with Cuceb Piloto (Vocalist of Miró), in the middle of the same year “Más” and now “19S” are released, a song that addresses the issue of the earthquakes that occurred on September 19 and that are currently being shared.
Vino el Viernes has been presented in important and iconic venues in Mexico City, such as: the Multiforo Alicia, the UNAM Radio Intersecciones Festival, CDMX Winter Festival, at the Mexico City Museum, among many others.
