Originally from Côte d'Ivoire, Gani Dieudonné Daniel made a name for himself in the 2020s under the pseudonym Lesky. Immersed in music with the explosion of coupé-décalé, he became fascinated by the figures of DJ Arafat and Serge Beynaud, then began a musical practice as a producer, shaping his first beats on the computer. Uninspired in the composition of coupé-décalé, he flourished more widely in rap instrumentals. Gradually, Lesky familiarized himself with the codes of the genre and settled in Adjamé, a commune bordering Abidjan. In 2019, he unveils his first personal composition, "Jeux de rein", which despite its minimalist aspects attracts curiosity. With "Les pehi filles ont pehi cui" (2019), Abidjan's confidential rap scene took an interest in the young rapper, who signed to L'organisation. With the latter, he released his first album, Big Three (2020), featuring the trio Lesky, Widgunz and LM, with guest appearances by Fior 2 Bior and France's Le Juiice. After "De sa tata " (2021) and "Diego / Matelas" (2021), Lesky asserted his particular style, sometimes considered vulgar, which earned him the label of "enfant terrible du rap ivoirien". With Le vrai cabri (2021), the rapper released his first mixtape, featuring a number of national and international stars (LM and Widgunz, as well as French artists Jok'Air and Le Juiice). Lesky began touring, his tracks were featured on Tik Tok and the Ivorian followed up with Ouwo Boy, released in 2022. The artist signed new hits ("Djinzin") then returned in 2023 with the singles "Tout est loué" and "Sans c*****".
