Mason Hill

Mason Hill, a Scottish hard rock band from Glasgow, was formed in 2013 by schoolmates Scott Taylor and James Bird. The group initially included Craig McFetridge, followed by Matthew Ward and Marc Montgomery. Their debut EP, Mason Hill, was released in December 2015, marking the beginning of their music career. They supported acts such as Airbourne and Gun and performed at festivals like WinterStorm in Troon and Download Festival. In 2019, Mason Hill launched a Kickstarter campaign for their debut album Against The Wall, which was released in March 2021. The album reached Number 19 on the UK Albums Chart and topped the UK Rock and Metal Chart. Their notable singles include "Best Of You" (released in March 2021). Vocalist Scott Taylor left the band in September 2023 due to health concerns. After more than two years, Tom Ward was officially announced as the current vocalist of the band in September 2025.
