Axamenta

Axamenta, a Belgian metal music group formed in 1993, initially released several demos and their debut album, Codex Barathri, with early members. By the early 2000s, significant lineup changes left Peter Meynckens as the sole original member. With a new lineup, they released the EP Incognation, featuring songs like "Demons Shelter Within", which was well-received by Belgian metal fans. In May 2005, Axamenta recorded their concept album Ever-Arch-I-Tech-Ture under Jacob Hansen's guidance and Frederik Nordström’s production at Studio Fredman in Göteborg, Sweden. The album included vocals from Daniel Gildenlöw on "Threnody for an Endling" and was released by LSP in 2006. Axamenta disbanded following a farewell concert at Hof ter Loo (now Trix) on April 30, 2008. In July 2022, they announced their return to the studio and self-released Spires in 2024.
