In the early hours of January 1, 2023, Ana, a 39-year-old real estate executive and mom of three who split time between Massachusetts and Washington, D.C., was last seen at home after New Year’s Eve. Her husband, Brian Walshe, told police she left for a sudden work trip, but investigators couldn’t confirm any ride to the airport or a flight out, and within days the story started falling apart. From there, the case turns into a brutal, evidence-heavy no-body prosecution: prosecutors laid out a trail of surveillance, dumpster runs, and a stack of internet searches about dismemberment and getting rid of remains, along with items recovered from trash processing that they said tied back to Ana.
