Baptiste Bailly was born in 1992 near Lyon in France. He started learning piano around the age of 16. Initially autodidact, then he perfected his skills in several conservatories (Saint Etienne, Dijon, Barcelona (ESMUC)) between 2010 and 2016. He was taught by Albert Bover, Eric Moulin, Remi Ploton, but also by Aaron Parks and Yonathan Avishai who gave him a free and open vision of music.
Baptiste Bailly today maintains many links with Spain, combining various musical influences between these two cultures. Since 2016, he has been involved in the Spanish music scene, playing, arranging, singing and composing in various projects. We find him alongside Carles Dénia, Elma Sambeat, Roxane Arnal, David Gadea, Ales Cesarini ... In 2016 he released “Diálogo con un Duende” with guitarist David Minguillón and then in 2019 “Pensión Almayer” with his own trio.
