Virux, stage name of Giovanni Saccomanno, is a Bolognese MC, originally from Cosenza.
He releases his first demo Virux game in 2006. Forms Vi.Be, a hip hop trio formed by the rappers Virux and Beta and the beatboxer Radice, releasing the album Colori Audio in 2008. It will be the trio's first and only album. He is also a founding member of Arena051 in 2007 with whom he produced, in 2008 and 2009, the two volumes of Jamming Arena and Default in 2015. Starting from 2011 he became a member of the Hard Squat Crew, participating only as a featuring in the three albums of group.
Since 2011, Virux's discography has been characterized by the partnership with Kappa-O with which he produced five albums, including I Gremlins in 2011 and Deep Throat in 2014. They can be considered as Virux's first two solo albums, as Kappa- O dedicates himself mainly to production, occasionally appearing on the microphone on songs such as “Acido di batte” and “5 Dita Di Violenza”. The collaboration also extends to the microphone in subsequent albums: Senza Esclusione Di Colpi in 2017, Atto Di Forza in 2021 and the side project Hard Poets together with DJ Fastcut.
