José Gregorio Sifontes, better known as José Sifontes and now with his stage name XIFONTES (which he had to change due to legal problems), is a Venezuelan singer-songwriter, born in Caracas, Venezuela on January 9, 1997. He is one of the biggest activists in the LGBTQ+ community in Venezuela with more than 200,000 followers on social media, and a content creator since the age of 14, he composed his first EP – Issues de Amor at the age of 28 at the end of February 2025 to explore his love for music, remembering that in his adolescence he studied music and belonged to a youth musical choir.
CONTROVERSY: On April 10th all of his music disappeared from the Internet without any explanation (1 Album, 3 EPs and 2 Singles) [A total of 31 of my own songs in the trash] Everything was deleted. The reason was that another artist with the same name as him didn't have official channels for his music, and the music of that other artist was being reorganized on José Sifontes's (XIFONTES) music channels.
