Jeffrey Louis-Reed is artist known as Disastronaut. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1968, Jeffrey is now based in London, England, Berlin, Germany and Rye, England. For years Jeffrey ran the Lift club in Brighton as well as a number of art and culture enterprises. Recently, he relocated to Soho, London where he's built a new studio in a utility closet.
In 2022, he picked up a a rare writing credit for another artist ( he usually only has time for his own ) with 1990's cult country techno act Rednex, which he also has served as Manager on Tour and DJ since 2018. Jeffrey is a busy artist playing 330 shows in 2022 and on track in 2023 for a similar amount. With Magic Robot, Jeffrey tours the world making improvised electronic music - recently travelling to New York, Mexico, Florida, Ireland, Portugal, Austria, and Germany.
