Biografía
In This Moment were formed in Los Angeles in 2005 around the talents of singer Maria Brink and guitarist Chris Howorth. In the early days of the band's career Brink's overtly sexual performances and large ego threatened to overshadow a group who had significant depth of talent. Their first album 'Beautiful Tragedy' (2007) received mixed reviews in the music press, however, Brink's stage presence and flamboyant behaviour helped win a loyal fan base of metalcore fans and by the time the band recorded their second album, 'The Dream' (2008), they had found an equilibrium and established their own identity. As a result, the album was critically well received and their career began to take off. The band have now released seven studio albums and have become an established and respected act within the metalcore scene. They released their seventh album, 'Mother', in March 2020.
