Lana Del Rey is a six-time Grammy nominated American singer/songwriter. Her music has been noted by critics for its stylized cinematic quality, glamour and melancholia and its references to 1950s and 1960s Americana. Her debut album, Born To Die was released in January 2012 and charted at number one on the official UK Album Chart, peaked number two on the US charts and was the fifth best- selling album of 2012. Her extended play Paradise followed that November, garnering her first and second Grammy nomination for Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Song Written for Visual Media. Ultraviolence (2014), her third studio album, became her first album to reach number one in the US. In 2015, she released her fourth studio album, Honeymoon, followed by Lust for Life (2017), Norman Fucking Rockwell! (2019), Chemtrails over the Country Club (2021), and Blue Banisters (2021). Del Rey’s ninth studio album, Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd. will be released this upcoming March 24th by Interscope and Polydor Records. The album features production by Del Rey, Mike Hermosa, Jack Antonoff, Drew Erickson, Zach Dawes, and Benji, and includes collaborations with Jon Batiste, Bleachers, Father John Misty, Tommy Genesis, SYML & Riopy. The title track, A&W, and The Grants have been released as singles and met with critical acclaim, with A&W being named ‘Best New Track’ by Pitchfork. She was recently the only feature on Taylor Swift’s highly anticipated album Midnights, on the track Snow on the Beach, for which she also co-wrote. Del Rey was recently honored with this year’s Visionary Award at the Billboard Women in Music Awards.
