Fairy tales, myths and magic - Fairytale from Hanover combine motifs from Celtic myths and legends with modern fantasy in their songs. Fairy-like singing in combination with classical instruments is the trademark of the Mystic Folk band, which was founded in 2014.
The musicians are known, among other things, for their performances with Blackmore's Night, Corvus Corax, The Dublin Legends or Moya Brennan (Clannad) as well as for numerous shows at festivals: For example the Wave-Gothik-Treffen in Leipzig, Wacken Open Air, Italian Triskell Celtic Festival or the Elfia Festival in Arcen in the Netherlands.
Fairytale released their first studio album "Forest of Summer" in 2015. The band remains true to the seasonal cycle and so they released "Autumn's Crown" three years later. Shortly thereafter, the fantasy musical „Der Elfen-Thron von Thorsagon“ was released with the participation of producer and director Karl-Heinz March, which premiered in November 2019.
The corona pandemic also left its mark on Fairytale, so the band's line-up changed several times. In addition to founding members Laura Isabel Biastoch (vocals) and Oliver Oppermann (guitar/Irish bouzoukis), Yasmine Rehmert (violin), Saskia Schrand (cello), Christiane Bunk (harp) and Marlon Kräher (drums) are part of the band's magical journey since 2020 and 2021.
