The Swedish singer-songwriter and musician Sophia Somajo was born in Stockholm in 1985 and is often known as Soso. Whilst she is a successful artist in her own right she has enjoyed greater commercial success as a songwriter for numerous top-ranking international artists and these include Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Backstreet Boys, Alesso, and Adam Lambert. Her own style has been compared to another well-known Swedish female artist, Robin Carlsson, better known as Robyn. Somajo has released just two albums and two EPs, her debut album being 'Laptop Diaries' from 2008.

She was scheduled to make her major label album debut in 2011 preceded by the release of the single 'Wristcutters Inc' in 2011. The single was a collaborative effort with The Hives' singer Pelle Almqvist, however, shortly after the single's release Somajo split with her record company and her second album 'T.T.I.D.S.D.I.E.U.I.C (That Time I Dug So Deep I Ended Up in China)' came out as an independent release through the sharing platform The Pirate Bay.

Somajo's most recent release was a cover of Tina Turner's 'Private Dancer' in 2018.
