Dani Fernández was a member of the successful Spanish boy band Auryn before the five went their seperate ways and he struck out on his own.

Fernández was born in Alcázar de San Juan, Ciudad Real in 1991. He took singing lessons from a young age, and at the age of 14 it paid off when he was selected to represent Spain in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, where he placed fourth with the song 'Te doy mi voz'.

Four years later in 2010 Fernández teamed with teen pop vocalist Blas Canto, who had previously been working on a solo album, along with Carlos Marco, Alvaro Gango and David Lafuente to form the boy band Auryn. Their breakout came when they made the final three of Destino Eurovisión, Spain's competition to see who will represent them in the Eurovision Song Contest. They lost out to singer Lucía Pérez, but it was enough to put them on the map.

They followed up with a gig supporting The Wanted and released their bilingual debut, 'Endless Road 7058', in late 2011. Three chart-topping albums and a full transition into English later and the group went on official hiatus in 2015 before announcing a formal split in July 2016.

From there Fernández signed with Warner Music Spain as a solo artist, releasing his debut album 'En Ilamas' in 2018 and the follow-up, 'Incendios' in 2019.
