Toolroom Records is one the world’s leading dance record labels. Since 2003 they have released some of the most defining club tracks of the past ten years, carving a distinct musical identity through the work of label boss and Grammy nominated DJ/producer Mark Knight. Past artists have included the legendary Underworld and Faithless, while the label also established the careers of Fedde le Grand, Funkagenda and D.Ramirez.
The events arm of the label – Toolroom Knights – has club residencies across the globe, and this year is hosting arenas at every major dance festival in the UK. More recently, Toolroom has moved into other platforms, with Toolroom TV now broadcast on Sky, and Toolroom Radio receiving 3m weekly listens. This year sees the 10-year anniversary of the label, and they are celebrating with Toolroom Ten – a ‘best of’ album that celebrates the label’s crucial role in dance music over the last decade, and an accompanying 10 week international campaign.
