Beautifully sentimental songs, perfectly constructed over disco-house pop undulations that are perfect for a few dance steps, Valère instantly distills a "feel good" effect. Brought up with the Beatles and the Rolling Stones on one side and Souchon, Voulzy and Bashung on the other, Valère claims to be a product of this crossbreeding, to which he adds a pop-funk guitar influenced by Tom Misch, Roosevelt or L'impératrice.

With his intimate, often autobiographical songs, Valère offers a certain kind of lightness and chiselled lyrics with a nonchalant elegance, foreshadowing a first EP in all simplicity, punctuated by an elegant phlegm of remarkable and disconcerting effectiveness.
