The lauded effort gave 6LACK the necessary fuel to construct his certified-gold sophomore album East Atlanta Love Letter,
which peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and No. 1 on the Top R&B Albums. In 2019-2020, 6LACK was the most featured artist with over 30 features, most notably Normani's 2019 MTV Music Awards Best R&B Video "Waves." The following year, he didn't miss a beat releasing his 6 PC HOT EP, which went top five on the Billboard R&B Charts. In addition to its R&B debut, 6 PC opened at No. 11 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and No. 15 on the all-genre Billboard 200. Last year, 6LACK earned a career first No. 1 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart in a unique way – debuting in the top spot on his collaboration with Lil Tjay's "Calling My Phone," With the single also opening at No. 1 on the Hot Rap Songs chart. In addition, "Calling My Phone" enjoyed a No. 3 arrival on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100, leading to his performance of the song on Fallon.
