Joel Stewart is a 28 year old singer songwriter, from Hertfordshire, UK. Following his
debut single in February 2019, the folk and indie pop/rock artist has gained over 20
million streams on Spotify, and performed ‘The Mike Dean Song’ to 10,000 at Wembley
Arena at Crouch Fest 2. His sound and style draws comparisons to Bon Iver, Dijon, Ben
Howard, and Nick Mulvey, all of whom he cites as inspiration.
2024 will see Stewart release his much anticipated debut EP "The Fountain", a collection
of songs written from the ‘perspective of someone sitting on a park bench and watching
the world go by’.
Stewart has extensive experience working as a writer, and collaborating, with other
artists. In 2023 Stewart featured on Kollectiv Turmstraße’s album, and performed at ADE
with the iconic producer. Previously, 'Blue Lights', Stewart's collaboration with Lonely in
the Rain, gained significant traction across Europe.
Stewart credits working on over 200 songwriting projects, including a 6 track Sync EP
with Abbey Road Masters (Universal Film & TV).
A prolific live artist, Stewart has played over 250 shows both in the UK and abroad.
Some notable London venues include Wembley Arena for Crouch Fest 2, Brixton Jamm,
and regular performances at Camden’s iconic Spiritual Bar. Further afield Stewart has
performed at Sofar Shows in LA and San Francisco, and at Peligoni Festival in Greece.
