Welcome to The Sullivan Sees. All are very welcome, so please come in and join us as we search for our musical “Island of Destiny”.
The Sullivan Sees are an Essex based collective, with Mick Cooper as the driving force, we have been releasing music since 2017 with covers of songs from Kraftwerk, Tears for Fears, Depeche Mode, Erasure, Yazoo, Nitzer Ebb, New Order, Hazell O'Connor, The Cure, Japan and on 11th November 2021 we release Say Hello Wave Goodbye, our cover of the Soft Cell classic.
Self-penned releases include:
No Place Like Home - describes the feelings of immigrants and their offspring, often having two countries they call home, but never truly fitting in.
Thank You for Your Kindness - is an ode to the unrecognised givers of kindness in the world.
Kind of Cool - a song with a Jazz vibe that was inspired by the children's book Cool! by Michael Morpurgo.
A Summer in Heaven was our 9th release. The single continued in the Jazz tinged style of the hugely successful Kind of Cool 100k+ streams.
I Want You - when you just know you want to be someone, even though they drive you crazy
House of Cards - airs distrust of the political elite and calls for voters to seek people of integrity to represent them.
Strange Times - Is our tribute to the everyday heroes during these co-vid times. All profits from this song go to NHS charities.
We love you all!!! Please give us a listen. Enjoy!
