Inspired by legends such as Redman, 50 Cent, Curren$y, Kanye West, and J. Cole. In the Late '00s, Ka$eem began a movement of online releases known as the "ThisisGooch Series" via DatPiff.com as well as physical copies that can be purchased through PayPal.
The releases include the 2009 mixtape "No Studio" and the 2010 release of "Not for Approval".
Ka$eem released his first original production studio album know as "Astute Discourse" in February of 2012. After the release of "AD1" in 2012, Ka$eem took a 4 year hiatus from music due to personal demons and family trageties. It wasn't until a phone call from C&C The Thirst Quencher requesting for a feature to his hit song "1000 thots", that inspired Ka$eem to write and record his sophomore album "Innasense". Which include songs such as "Woke Up Feeling Like a G", "F*** The Police", "Smoke Break", & "Back N Tha Day".
In 2017 released his 3rd album, "The Sixth Sense" which dived more into his past, as well as the mental trauma and drug addiction that he experienced after and before the release of Astute Discourse.
In 2018 "Marleveli" was released.. pWith tracks such as "Hit", "Camera Lights", "Superpower Trip", and the Alina Baraz assisted singled "Blow My Mind
Kaseem released a single 1 month after the Marleveli album titled "Tokyo Drift" as a promotional single. "Tokyo Drift" would go on be Kaseem's most successful song.
Kaseem then relocated to Easton, PA to record his non-feature assisted album "Free Air" in the summer of 2019.
Even during a global pandemic with the COVID-19 virus, Kaseem released "Green Monster " which was met with online general acclaim with songs such "No Gas", and "Love Vibes". Kaseem was once again placed on the radars of fans of underground independent hip-hop music.
