Simon Ryghseter (born 24. July 1995) also known as Mr. Simon, is an artist and producer from Norway, based in Tanzania. He got his first drum kit when he was six years old, and grew up singing in his local church.
Mr. Simon is best known for his musical work with Harmonize, and has more than 35 million streams to his name, as a producer and songwriter, after only two years in the East-African music industry.
In several radio interviews Mr. Simon have talked about his love for Afro Music, and his burning desire to help genres like Bongo Flava and Afropop develop and grow further out to the world. And with support from some of the biggest artists in Tanzania, Mr Simon decided to release his own music. His debut single "Don't Wanna Lose You" featuring Tanzanian star Maua Sama was released in March, 2022.
