Carlos Ribeiro is a Portuguese singer, widely known for being one of the members of the iconic boy band Excesso, which became one of the biggest pop music phenomena in Portugal during the 90s. With the group, Carlos gained a legion of fans, being part of a generation that grew up on the sound of hits such as "Eu Sou That" and "És Loucura". Excesso's popularity resulted in platinum albums and sold-out shows across the country.
The group's dissolution took place in the early 2000s and, after several years living between Spain and Australia, Carlos Ribeiro returned to Portugal at the beginning of 2023, due to the celebration of the iconic boy band's 25th anniversary. The first of these shows was decisive for the Portuguese singer.
Carlos decided it was time to return to the stage, but this time solo. The Portuguese artist surrounded himself with new influences that motivated him to explore his passion for music and the result is already visible.
