Our debut album is OUT NOW đ https://backl.ink/143314666
Go ahead, ransack any corner of the Hello Operator catalogue, and as if placing all your pennies on a school tombola, youâre likely to return with tales of hoity-toity monsters, animals behaving badly, Hamburg backstreets and Caribbean loose change. Indeed, over the past few years, the band has continually come up with the goods, carefully adding to their basket of infectious, cocksure sing-a-longs.
Founded on a shared affinity for rock ânâ roll, hip-hop and soulful melodies, the North Yorkshire four piece have been steadily braising a world of their own. Throughout their sound weaves an undercurrent of fuzzy guitars, thumping bass and drums, and an unmistakable vocal âI watched a clip of Otis Rush belting out âI Canât Quit You Babyâ and thought - Iâve gotta learn to sing like that!â â Max Dalton.
Whatâs clear is this: it is a music born of the moment yet marinated in the best of the past.
2020 will see Hello Operator release their debut album and itâs sure to be a hell of a ride.
