Biographie

The German producer Miksu, formerly known as Joshimixu, was born Joshua Allery in Essen on December 1st, 1987. He first rose to prominence in 2011, when he produced Caspers “Kontroll / Schlafe,” included in the rapper’s second studio album, XOXO. Throughout his career, Miksu has been featured on several gold-selling albums such as Farid Bang’s Jung, Brutal, Gutaussehend 2 (2013), KC Rebell’s Fatamorgana (2015), and Karma (2017) and Deja Vu (2018) by pop songwriter Mike Singer. In 2018, Miksu produced the music for an ad featuring the entire FC Bayern München team, which exposed him to a wider audience across Germany. His solo career had an auspicious start when the single “Kein Wort” (2020) with Juju and Loredana reached the top of the German charts, quickly obtaining gold certification. Follow-up single “XXL,” featuring Summer Cem, Luciano, and Jamule, met a similar fate, peaking at Number 2. Preceded by the Top 10 singles “Lonely,” “Wenn Sie Ruft,” and “Frag Mich Nicht,” Futura, a joint effort with fellow producer Macloud, finally hit the shelves in 2021. It also spawned the track “Tut Mir Leid,” which hit Number 31 on Germany’s Single charts.
