Pheno Ambro, born in Togo to a Nigerian father and a Togolese mother, grew up in the vibrant suburbs of Paris. His Yoruba heritage is a cornerstone of his artistic identity, shaping a journey that began with dance before evolving into music in 2015. He first gained recognition with Alimé and cemented his presence in 2017 with his debut EP, Nobejoko v1, which surpassed 2 million streams, fueled by standout tracks like Bloquer Loketo and Like Eminado.
