Antonello Carino, Neapolitan musician mainly devoted to teaching but with great sensitivity and musical depth, after many collaborations with different artists from various musical backgrounds such as: Bossa Nova, Jazz, Italian pop music and of course, the great musical richness of Neapolitan music (folkloric and classical Neapolitan song), during one of the many telephone conversations with his longtime friend Frank Iengo, he was asked to collaborate on some projects dedicated to the guitar, including the first album (Penombra) on behalf of Antonello Carino.
"Penombra", EP of four original songs plus a cover of Ralph Towner (Anniversary Song), was made within a month through an exchange of files between New York and Naples and exactly reflects the roots and peculiarities of Antonello Carino .
In fact, "Penombra" is definitely a product that apart from "American Legend" which with its sounds to the great outdoors of Central America and the tribute to Ralph Towner (Anniversary Song), have Mediterranean Neapolitan sounds.
But now, let the music speak for him.
