Martin Joey Dine is a French jazz pianist, composer, producer and award winner born in Montmorency in February 1, 1992. He started playing piano at the age of 6, taking private lessons with several teachers. At age of 16, he was admitted at the "Jazz a Tours" school where he studied piano lessons with Guillaume De Chassy and attended workshops for two years. Following his studies, at 18 Martin came to Paris and studied an additional three years at the Conservatory of Paris with Carine Bonnefoy, Benjamin Moussay and follows the masterclasses of Enrico Pieranunzi or Yaron Herman. In 2012 at 20, he traveled to New York to plays a series of concerts. Martin has recorded his first album as a leader, titled Wario featuring. Darryl Hall, Rémi Vignolo, Baptiste Herbin. During 2013, Martin has played with famous french rapper Taipan, then, he won the Piano Forté international jazz piano competition. In 2014, at 22, Martin Joey Dine recorded his second album as a leader titled Copperfield featuring Rodolphe Lauretta, Tim Campanella, Gael Petrina and a full classical orchestra. In October 2017 he produced a new single, Upperground about the song Jordu written in 1953 by American be-bop pianist Duke Jordan. Since 2015, he's studying at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam but he moved to Philadelphia, USA in 2018 to study at the prestigious Temple University with Terell Staford, Dick Oatts, Rodney Green, Bruce Barth, Tom Lawton and Tim Brey. He also played with Logan Richardson.
